Bake Day!

We started a new tradition. A Christmas bake day. It was loads of fun,& actually a lot of work. But it was worth it!

I Love Lamp.

I found this lamp at Homegoods. It's not a vintage lamp like I wanted, but I could not pass it up. I have a hard enough time finding things I like as it is, so when I saw it BAM got it. And I love it.

Introducing....the Works.

I've started this blog and I keep neglecting it. So from here on out I'm going to keep up on it!
So for starters, my name is Lauren. I'm getting married in 2 months! And I am STILL thinking of things to do for my wedding! So I'm going to try to keep track of my millions of ideas and share them with you! ALSO, my amazing fiance Travis, & I just got a cute little apartment. So I'm stuck in the middle of wedding planning and apartment decorating! It's super fun but a lot of work! And I wouldn't change it for the world! My problem though is I'm not sure how I want to decorate it. I'm thinking of vintage 60's/70's theme..... we shall see!! Stay tuned... here is the couch we got, it's getting delivered tomorrow, I can't wait! I need to make some pillows!

Confetti Madness!

It got pretty messy, but it's going to be amazing when all you see is paper flying in the air!

So we went to try on suits.... I've never seen him in one! It was pretty cute. He didn't like any of them, way too baggy. So we're off to volcom to find a slim fit!

The Venue

When I look at these pictures I get soooo excited that I'm getting married here! It's the El Adobe in San Juan Capistrano. It's pretty much exactly what I wanted. the ceremony is outside under that little chapel. We're getting married at night and there is going to be twinkling lights and hopefully candles everywhere. I think what sold me on this place though is that it's just so pretty you don't really need any decor at all. It already has it with the brick walls and lights and plants. It's a mexican resturant so it has that mexican theme feel. I love it!
