Art Room

I have been waiting my whole life for an art room that wasn't my bedroom :) And when we moved to our new place I got one! So I just started to decorate my "studio".... I haven't done too much because I haven't found what I want for it.(And because I 'm so picky and like everything)  But I had to do something so for the time being and this is it. Very blah and white... well the peg board it blue now so it has a bit of color. And I have a different desk I want to use in it but we are using it in the kitchen for now :) Until I find my dream table(a 50's looking diner table) Anywoo, after this blog I think I'm going to go clean and decorate. I'm pretty happy with it... mainly just because I've always wanted it!  So I'll have some better pics later... hopefully!

Rainy Days

It has been so raining, and don't get me wrong I love the rain and winter but I'm always cold....sooo I'm ready for the summer now. Why are girls always colder than guys? Right now for instance I have the heater on but my toes and fingers are freezing! Maybe I should go run around the block :)

Confetti Fight.

So here is my vision in real life :) I made like a ton of these confetti cones for people to toss at us after we got married.... and this is the picture I imagined! It almost looks like it's snowing :) Poor Travis got a blasted in the face!

Bake Day!

We started a new tradition. A Christmas bake day. It was loads of fun,& actually a lot of work. But it was worth it!

I Love Lamp.

I found this lamp at Homegoods. It's not a vintage lamp like I wanted, but I could not pass it up. I have a hard enough time finding things I like as it is, so when I saw it BAM got it. And I love it.

Introducing....the Works.

I've started this blog and I keep neglecting it. So from here on out I'm going to keep up on it!
So for starters, my name is Lauren. I'm getting married in 2 months! And I am STILL thinking of things to do for my wedding! So I'm going to try to keep track of my millions of ideas and share them with you! ALSO, my amazing fiance Travis, & I just got a cute little apartment. So I'm stuck in the middle of wedding planning and apartment decorating! It's super fun but a lot of work! And I wouldn't change it for the world! My problem though is I'm not sure how I want to decorate it. I'm thinking of vintage 60's/70's theme..... we shall see!! Stay tuned... here is the couch we got, it's getting delivered tomorrow, I can't wait! I need to make some pillows!
